Bereavement & Funeral Luncheon

FUNERAL COMMITTEE:
This ministry team helps the family plan the funeral liturgy, create a funeral worship aid, visit the funeral home in the name of the parish community, and greet people coming to the funeral Mass. We provide lectors, readers, Eucharistic Ministers and servers if needed by the family. They also celebrate a special liturgy at the beginning of November. This ministry is dedicated to providing for the family, the mass planning in a thoughtful, caring manner.
Contact: Linda Salmons @ 419-499-4274 or  @419-366-7778.

LUNCHEONS
Our Funeral Luncheon Committee is available to prepare a luncheon for family and friends after the funeral Mass and burial service.
Members of St. Anthony's Parish provide wonderful homemade side dishes to compliment the main course.
These luncheons are usually held in our parish social hall.
No fee is charged however a donation is graciously accepted.

Bereavement  & Much More Support Group:
St. Anthony’s support group is open to  all members of the Norwalk/Milan community and to all of our “tri parish” parishioners.  It is for all (Men & Women) who have lost a loved one and are experiencing the grief, pain and loneliness that is a part of it. We are a friendly, relaxed, caring, small group of people who are journeying through the same experiences.  We presently meet once a month (The first Wednesday of the month) at St. Anthony’s social hall which provides us with enough room to social distance. We meet at noon and share lunch and discuss ways in which we can help each other. Our focus is bereavement however we have discovered there are many other areas where support is needed, and our discussions touch on all areas of need. This is open to Catholics and non-Catholics alike from our Norwalk, Milan area.  We have all been there and whether you have lost a spouse, parent, child, or dear friend, we invite you to join us. You can come as often or as little as you feel necessary. Come join us for lunch and a conversation. For more information, or if you are interested in being a part of the team, please call the parish office at St. Anthony’s @ 419-499-4274 or Linda @ 419-366-7778.You are in our prayers.
